How JunkCar Rescue Works
No catch, no fine print games. Here is exactly how the service works and how we make money.
Three simple steps
- You call the number on the page. Tell us the year, make, model, and condition of the car, and whether it runs.
- You're connected with a local buyer. An independent junk-car buyer in your area can quote a cash offer over the phone — no obligation.
- Free pickup, and you get paid. If you accept, the buyer schedules pickup or towing, often the same day, and pays you at the vehicle.
How we're paid
Our service is free to you. JunkCar Rescue may receive compensation from buyers for connecting calls. You never pay us anything, and you never pay a reputable buyer to take your car. You're paid by the buyer you choose, for the vehicle you agree to sell.
What you should expect — and verify
- A clear offer from the buyer, ideally in writing, before you hand over the car.
- Free towing included in the offer — if a buyer tries to deduct a tow fee, that's your cue to decline.
- Honest timing: same-day pickup depends on local buyer availability and demand, and is not guaranteed.
- Your own responsibility to follow your state's title and plate rules — confirm specifics with your state DMV or registry.
Call recording & privacy
Calls may be recorded for quality assurance and dispute resolution by us and our routing partners. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how it's used.
